Violet H. Wright
Violet went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 20, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born to the late Ygnacio and Lupe Manuell on August 18, 1936, in Houston, TX.
Violet married Robert Wright in 1957, in Angola, IN, and together they raised 5 children. Violet loved spending time with her family.
Violet is survived by 3 daughters, Roberta, Rhonda, and Richelle; son, Ron; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright; daughter, Robin Wright Mills; and infant son, Robert Wright, Jr.
The service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Violet Wright, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Online condolences may be left for her family at www.EstesLeadley.com.

The legacy you leave will be one of love, teaching us about Christ, and great hospitality! You always took care of us all, even in your last days you were telling us not to spend money on a hotel, that you had extra beds and room! You will be deeply missed by your family and loved ones! Love you always grandma! Now go rest with your Lord and Savior, Grandpa, Uncle Robert & Aunt Robin! Until we meet again!
