Vickie S. Buell
Age 68, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away February 17, 2015, with her family at her side. Vickie was born October 1, 1946, in Lansing, and graduated from Eastern High School. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage up north, and loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband, Douglas Buell; 11 children, William Jr., Robert, Brian (Belinda), Kandy, Brandy, Mandy, Meredith, Tasha (Robert), Cheryl (Andre), Jamie (James), Kelly; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several siblings; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Murphy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Jo.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the McLaren nursing staff on 4 CHI and in the ICU.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. Vickie’s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
