Vicki L. Custer
Age 55, of Lansing, MI, passed away January 13, 2020. She was born September 23, 1964, in Lansing, to the late Earnest and LeAnn Downs.
Vicki graduated from Harry Hill High School in Lansing. She loved northern Michigan, being outdoors, in the woods, and on the lakes. She was an avid animal lover, especially deer, rabbits, and chipmunks! She enjoyed and was very skilled at crafts, and she was an author. Vicki always put other people before herself. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Brian Custer; daughter, Danielle (fiancé Adam Talley) Custer; grandchildren, James Talley, Scott Talley, and Cody Boyd; and her brother, Gregory (Gayle) Downs.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local hospice of your choice.
