Thomas M. Waligorski

Waligorski, Thomas photoAge 19, of Potterville, MI, passed away October 16, 2017. He was born June 22, 1998, in Lansing, MI, to Melissa Wriggelsworth and Matthew Waligorski.

Tom was a 2016 graduate of Potterville High School and was a multiple varsity letter winner in football. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and bonfires.

Tom recently started a residential construction company with his good friend, Andrew Craig.

“T-bone” as he was affectionately called by his mom was a blue collar, country boy, thru and thru.  He loved manual labor, choppin’ wood, loud trucks, and breaking and fixing stuff.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa Wriggelsworth and father Matt Waligorski; sisters, Grace and Claire Waligorski; stepfather, Scott Wriggelsworth; stepbrother, Jake Wriggelsworth; grandparents, Don Smith, Tom and Carole Waligorski, and Fred and Mary Scarpace; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Adah Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017, at Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing. His family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 6500 Amwood Dr., Lansing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 S. Rochester Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
