June 27, 2014 at 7:53 amJudy and family,
I was so saddened to learn of Tom’s death. Not only did he work for my parents and me at East Lansing Kart Track, our friendship goes back to junior high days. I am praying for all of you in this difficult time. I would very much like to attend the memorial service if I have enough advance notice. It takes 12 hours for me to drive from NC to Lansing. If it is not too much trouble you can reach me at dms_d@bellsouth.net. My heart-felt condolences to all of you.

June 29, 2014 at 8:37 amMy condolences at the passing of Tom. My first husband, Larry and I, knew Tom through Spartan Speedway and Rod McLean. He was always at the track helping out in the late 60s.

March 29, 2024 at 7:10 pmHi Aunt Judy – I am so sorry – I did not know that Uncle Tom passed away! It has been so many years – I was just a kid! I think about Christmas time when Uncle Tom would tell me I was getting a lump of coal in my stocking 🙂 — then I got smart and told him – it better be the prettiest diamond ever! lol I think about the days on the track a lot – haven’t been much into the tracks since those days! Would love to hear from you and the kids! Always Christal Calabrase – Fernsler – Mason
