November 17, 2012 at 8:30 pmIt is with great deal of sadness when we read that Tom had pasted. He was instrumental with the arrest of two of Lansing’s largest heroin dealers (Nixon brothers) in the late 60’s and early 70′. The relationship he had established with an informant was critical in his assistance to the Metro Narcotics Squad of which I was a member. He was the “real deal” when it came to his law enforcement work. He was impressive, personable, intellegent and did he ever know how to deal with people…I do not belief I have known anyone better. Our deepest sympathies to you and the family. When I think of Tom I think of a person who really made a difference in the lives of so many. Kindest Regards, Bill & Marie Howe

November 18, 2012 at 11:27 amWe can remember the great times we had as a family on the weeks ends in the stands with you boys off on the mate. The chicken we cooked to fund Summer Camp. Fun was had by all. We miss those days. Just one big happy family.

November 19, 2012 at 11:01 amWhen I heard that Mr. Bolan had passed away, I was deeply saddened and then I just had to smile! The smile is just remembering all the great times we had together with our Wrestling Family. I will never forget the time when Mr. Bolan and Mr. Richardson helped me when I first became aware I was allergic to ‘shellfish’! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Much love, Missy.

November 19, 2012 at 2:05 pmI am terribly sorry for your loss. I know first hand that just knowing that other people cared that much about my father really helped with the loss. Your father was a great man to me, too. He always hugged me and made me smile! I, too, remember the wrestling days in the gym and at parties afterwards! May your dad rest in peace and be there with my dad at heaven’s gate looking down on all of us! Take care and God Bless!!
