At this time there are no words that can be said to take away your families pain or even ease it. Just know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We are extremely sorry for the loss of your beautiful son, brother, cousin, school mate and friend.

Joye, Scott, Alexis and Karissa, our family is praying for you all. Words cannot express how very very sorry we are for the loss of your son and brother. We talk a lot about “community” but i think it’s appropriate right now, this idea that people need other people, this idea that we’re not alone, that we’re all in this together. Life is a lot of things. Our hearts are heavy. May God bless you and your family and a give you peace. With all our love, The Perdue Family.

Joye, Scott and Family:

I’m sorry I cannot be there with you in person, to give you my condolences, however you are surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, and in the thoughts of many.

My thoughts are with you, if that provides even some measure of comfort……

Joye and family – the loss is beyond words right now, but the memories will remain always. Keep those close to your heart and know that there are so many people that love you and are praying for you. This brings everything into perspective….that love and family are the most precious and meaningful things in life. All my love to you.

So far and yet so close,
as the ocean and the endless sky seem to be,
when they join each other at the end of the horizon,
so far and yet so close
are this world and the afterworld,
the visible and invisible world.
So far and yet so close
are the people that had to leave us
but will forever be a part of us.
(Irmgard Erath)

Joye and family, I am afraid there is nothing that I could say that would ease the pain you have to go through.. But just know that we are thinking of you and your family and wish you all the support you can get, all the strengths that you need to go through this now and in future,

I wish for people that reach out to you.
I am thankful for everybody that smiles at you and holds your hand when you feel lost in your pain.
I wish for people that visit you, that write to you, even though they are afraid to use the wrong words.
I wish for people that allow and encourage you to speak of Taylyr.
I wish for you to be able to be able to share your memories of him.
I wish for people that listen to you even if what you are saying in your grief might be hard to take.
I wish for people that comfort you and assure you that you are not left alone.
I wish for people that embrace you and try to be supportive.

I know that you are surrounded by such people who will be there for you.
Keeping you in our thoughts,

I am a teacher at Holt High School and I had Taylyr in biology his sophomore year. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a sweet boy and will be missed. I remember when his hair was long and he would shake and swing his head to get it out of his face. He would have that nice smile under his hair and just laugh when I would tell him he could hurt his neck doing that. 🙂 He was very friendly to others in class. I also had Alexis in Human Phys and Botany when she was in school- Taylyr would speak highly of his big sister and reminded me they were brother and sister. Our hearts at Holt H.S. go out to all of you in Taylyr’s family.

Scott, Joye, and the entire Cochran family. My heart is filled with much sorrow at your tragic loss. I remember Taylyr as a baby….I had the honor of meeting him on a couple of occasions. I will also always remember how proud Shanda was of being an Aunt!!!!! I am certain that Taylyr has made an impression on all that have had the honor of knowing him..may that leave you with some peace in your hearts. I will continue to ask God wrap his arms around your family and hold you up during this very difficult time. All my love, Jayme

Dear Grandma Diana and Grandpa George Cochran,
Larry and I are are so deeply sorry at the loss of your grandson. We have not seen him in several years but we do remember George chasing him in the backyard as a young boy, and playing in the pool on those hot summer days long ago. Our memories are a gift from God to ease the emptiness.
Please know that we are praying for your family, and are asking God to help you find peace were this is a void. We pray that the void will be filled with remembering the joy Taylyr brought while on this earth.
Continued prayers,
Larry and Diane Ranshaw

Mr./Mrs. Cochran, lexi poo, and karissa we are keeping you all in our prayers. We will never forget Tay. I don’t think of him as tall taylyr i remember the one that i had to look down to talk to him. You all are like my 2nd family. If there is anything we can do just ask. The memory of a good person is a blessing.

Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
you left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you, your always at our side.
our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same
but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again
