Dad,
We will all miss you and your wisdom. Thanks for providing guidance, ethics, and morals while raising my brother and I. That foundation has helped me to raise my own children and has ensured that our family will honor your memory. You will always be in my thoughts as I continue to pass those lessons on to my own children. The woods will be a little bit colder without you in it each fall.
Love,
Your Son.

Steve,

I will always remember you as a kind, gentle, loving man who took me under his wing to protect me from things I didn’t even know I needed protection from. You were the beacon of light that guided me through the storms and the calm force that surrounded me after the storms.

My time as your step-daughter was short, but the bond was everlasting.

I will continue to smile every time I think of you as “Beetlejuice” and I will forever treasure the time I got to spend with you during my recent visit. You will always have a place in my heart.

Love,
Stephanie
