Stanley Mishkin

Age 96, of Ann Arbor, MI, formerly of Manhattan and Rockville Centre, New York, died peacefully on December 19, 2021, after living for several years with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born May 13, 1925, in New York, New York, to Hyman and Ida Mishkin.

A graduate of City College and NYU Law School, Stan practiced law and developed residential and commercial real estate on Long Island for nearly seven decades. He was loved and admired by his colleagues, and most of all by his many dear friends and family, none more than his beloved wife of 72 years, Phyllis (nee Shebroe). Unfailingly kind, caring and generous, he was a role model to his three sons, his grandchildren, his brother, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his wife, sons, and brother, he is survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The hole he leaves in their lives is unfillable.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
