Son Long Huynh

Son Long Huynh, 53, of Lansing, Michigan, died May 22, 2015 at McLaren Hospital. He was born September 8, 1962 in Vung Tau, Vietnam, to the late Huynh An and Nguyen Thi Nam. In 1989 he married Mary My Chau, who survives.

Also surviving are his three loving children, Terry L., James T., and Kennedy T. Huynh; and a sister Mary Nguyen, all of Michigan.

He was a devoted member to St. Andrew Dung-Lac Church. As a man with many talents, his hobbies entailed music and gardening. He was also a handyman who knew the trades to fix automobiles and homes. His previous well-established occupation was as a CNC machinist at AutoAir. Furthermore, he held a 7th grade yellow belt and a 6th grade green belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at St. Andrew Dung-Lac Catholic Church, 1611 W. Oakland Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
