Dear Heidi, Bobby and Ronny, this is Vicki Knapp Shannon. Remember Ann Street? So sorry for your loss. Your Mother was a wonderful friend for many years!! Do you remember me babysitting for you? Your parents were always an active member of so many groups. Our neighborhood was so much fun for all of us. I would see her at Curves in Haslett and we would visit for a long time. She would ask about my family and I am blessed to still have my Dad and he is 96. He sends his condolences to all of you. I will keep you and your families in my prayers. Love to all of you.

I knew Sidney for many years at Curves & then a few of us started the Lunch Bunch that continued after Curves closed. We all enjoyed Sidney at lunch at Schuler’s but also some excursions to the Holly Hotel or the French Laundry in Fenton or Judy Benedict’s back yard. She was a delight to have around & enjoyed being with us. We missed her when she moved to Jackson but I did call a couple of times & had nice conversations. The world was a better place because of Sidney. My condolences to your whole family.

I was so sorry to hear of the death of your beautiful mother. Jane Grettenberger called yesterday to let me know. Sidney was such an incredible friend to me. I loved her very much. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Love to all of you,

I am deeply sad to hear of my dearest friend passing & only finding out today! Sid and I have been dear friends for 75 plus years! Most friendships never last this amount of time. We spend countless hours playing dress up with other friends. Although we lived many states apart in our later life, we visited and spoke over the phone as dear friends do.
Hopefully, I will learn of the memorial that is planned in the future.
I will miss you Sidney!
Love, Glory
