Shirley May Casner

Age 76, passed away August 23, 2013. She was born October  17, 1936, in Mount Pleasant, MI, daughter of the late Mary and Vernon Pifer.

Shirley retired from General Motors after serving 26 years. She loved arts and crafts and spent many hours sewing and knitting. She also had a love for animals, especially birds.

She was predeceased by: Her husband, Donald in 2006; and daughter, Betty Lou. Surviving are: her 3 sons, Bill (Denise Mulholland) of Onondaga, Bob (Kim) of Sharon, TN and Brad (Hollie) of Dimondale; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Vernon (Dotty) Pifer and Russ (Marge) Pifer.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 12:00 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
