I worked with Sheila for several years. She was such an extraordinary woman. I was always so relieved to see her sitting behind her desk in the morning. It meant it would always be a good day with Sheila in charge ,helping make sure everything was done properly. She was a kind, sweet and wonderful person. A beautiful soul who was the calm amid the storm. Everyone I knew loved her and respected her. She was absolutely extraordinary. My heart goes out to her beautiful family. Your loss is beyond words. You are all in my thoughts. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Words can not express our sorrow as we heard about Sheila. Sheila was the the “glue” at the OR desk that kept things going and the OR will miss her dearly! We are saddened to hear of this and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family as well as co-workers.

Sheila was a great friend. She could share her sly sense of humor and mischievous grin while being completely professional. She had a huge heart, and a wonderful spirit. She will be remembered as one of the great human beings that makes Sparrow the extended family that it is. She will be sorely missed. How lucky we all were to have had the time that we did with her.

Rob, Charlotte, and family, Sheila was a wonderful person and very good as a HUC. When I arrived 2 1/2 years ago I knew no one in surgery and Sheila took me under her wing and showed me how to navigate the system-I will be forever grateful for her kindness. We are all missing her. I am praying that God will grant you peace. MGL
