Sharon Childs
Age 62, of Remus, MI, passed away at her home on July 24, 2016. She was born September 24, 1953, in Tyler, Texas, to Forest and Lerlene Allen. Sharon had a heart of gold. Her southern hospitality showed in love of taking care of people, especially by cooking for them.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Childs. She is survived by her sons, Jim Childs and Bill Childs; 5 grandchildren; and her brothers, Jim Allen and Bill Allen.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Private interment will take place on Thursday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
