Samuel “Keith” Janecke

Samuel Keith Janecke lost his fight with cancer on February 8, 2024. “Keith” was born in Texas on December 20, 1982. He lived his last 41 years in Mason, MI. He graduated from Mason High School, followed by four-years of trade school to become a journeyman carpenter. He loved traveling, camping, fishing, and dreamed of living on a boat. Keith leaves behind a daughter, Kalei Mason-Janecke, along with his parents, Sam and Cindy Janecke, sisters Leona (Jason) King, Rebecca Janecke, a nephew, Lucas King and scores of Aunts, Uncles, cousins (a special bond with his cousin, Ross “Mike” Keith) and many friends.

It is with profound sadness, that we ask you to join us in celebrating his life 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave. Lansing, Michigan 48906. There will be a memorial visitation one hour prior to the service Saturday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: the Almoner’s Fund at Emanuel Lutheran Church, or the Kalei Mason-Janecke College Fund, in care of Samuel C.
