Sally R. Campau

Sally Rose Campau passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, in the familiar surroundings of her home in East Lansing.  Born to Ernest and Helen Labadie (Dole) on August 31st, 1932, in Wyandotte, Michigan, she brought a bright and beautiful light to the world that remained undimmed to the end.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, twelve older siblings, and beloved husband Richard Martin Campau.  The beloved mother of Renee (Gregory) Eis, Richard Campau, and Robert (Julia) Campau, she was a particularly active and loving presence in the lives of her grandchildren Stephanie Krajec (Matt), Geoffrey Eis, Jon Campau, Evelyn Campau, and Margot Campau, as well as great-granddaughters Hazel and Charlotte Krajec.

Sally also worked with great care as an executive assistant at the Lansing Board of Water and Light for more than a decade.

A private Mass will be held.
