When Ruth taught me how to knit socks we discovered a mutual family tie with her family. From then on I felt that each time I knit I was weaving in a part of our shared family history. Her patience in teaching a beginner was amazing!

Ruthie was so special. Her smile and demeanor was always so precious. She always recognized my voice no matter how well disguised on the phone when I would call Tom. We always enjoyed getting to together with her and Tom during our summer travels from Florida. Years ago we traveled to Spain with Ruthie’s
parents, and Tom and Ruth.
She will be missed greatly. We are praying for the family as they lay her to rest.

Though Ruth is no longer with you, I rejoice along with your family that she has her eternal salvation. I have many fond memories of Ruth from OSL. My mother, Carmela, loved your family dearly. There are no forever good-byes. In God’s time, you will be reunited together again.
