Ruth M. (Robinson) Ott
Age 85, of Howell, Michigan, passed away January 14, 2018. She was born January 27, 1932, in Tyrone Township, MI, to Ray and Mary Robinson. In 1952, Ruth married Kenneth Ott. She was a member of University Baptist Church and the Gideon’s International Auxiliary.
Surviving are: her husband Kenneth; 3 sons, Stephen (Linda) Ott of Fort Collins, CO, Jonathon Ott and Philip Ott, both of Fowlerville, MI; son-in-law, Les (Teresa) Weismiller; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Culver; and brother, Paul (Susan) Robinson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Weismiller, her parents and 6 brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Gideon’s International in memory of Ruth Ott.

January 18, 2018 at 6:27 pmRuth and Ken connected me to the pancake breakfasts at Youth Haven Ranch in 2009. She served as a prayer partner for mentors and their mentees in Lansing schools. I remember the house, Ken’s trains / tractors and stories of farm life. A sweet woman, Ruth truly made a difference in the world.
