Ruth Melvina Moser

Age 100, Ruth passed away December 3, 2018.  She was born September 17, 1918, in Bay City, Michigan, to William and Melvina Werner.  Ruth was a lifetime member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.  She loved gardening, painting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Moser.  Surviving are:  her son, Daniel (Catherine) Moser; granddaughter, Laura (Mark) Shutes; grandson, Michael (Carolyn) Moser; great-grandchildren, Conner and Jacob Shutes, and Kaitlyn Moser.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 7740 W. St. Joseph Hwy,. Lansing.  Interment  will take place in Hillside Cemetery, at 2:30 p.m.  Her family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.

So sorry for your loss. The whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. It was my pleasure to take care of your mom/grandma. She was a very special lady. She will always have a spot in my heart. She will be missed a lot.

Aunt Ruth was a classic beauty and always a lady. She told me never to leave the house withouth lipstick on. She shared many great stories about The Werner family with me. I love her and her family very much.
