Rose Marie Bockes

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the age of 80. Rose was currently of Howell, MI. She was born December 16, 1930 in Lansing, the daughter of Gaylord and Martha (Bailey) Esch.

Surviving are daughters, Carol (Rob) Raven, Janette (Roger) Myers, Diane (Rudy) Borr, Theresa (Dan) Cary, Laurie (Randy) Myers, Jeri (Ken) Ritter; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine (Bud) Hines. She was preceded in death by loving husband of 55 years, Bruce Bockes, and sister Pauline (Tom) Botsford.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Pastor Mark Bender officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
