Rosa Lee Houston

Age 89, of  Lansing, Michigan, passed away, March 12, 2015, in Mason. She was born in Bluefield, WV, to Willie and Lillie Smith.

Rosa Lee was a secretary for the State of Michigan, was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, Central United Methodist Church in Lansing, and was an avid Scrabble player.

She is survived by her children: John Houston, Jr., Vincent (Sue) Houston, and Rosemary Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jane Maki.

There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
