My condolence’s to Gee and the entire Palk family. I worked (at Michigan National Bank) and golfed in the bank league with Ron for almost 20 years. He was a good person with a quick smile. I am especially sorry that he didn’t get the much deserved opportunity to enjoy more years in retirement with his wife and family….. ln

Ron,
My boys said to me that you were such a nice neighbor because you didn’t get mad when they ran into your shed with a wagon! ?? You were also so kind and measured in your responses. Thank you for being such a wonderful man to all.

We love you Gee, Devon and Candice, Ray and Bryn, Laurel and Ryan. You will be in our prayers in the days ahead.

I wish to express my heart felt sadness of hearing of Ron’s passing from this life but also my faith that death is not the end but a transition. A birth to eternal life as expressed by St. Francis of Assisi. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that Ron is embraced by God’s love and is no longer in pain.
I wanted you to know how much I truly enjoyed working with Ron over the many years at Jackson National. I enjoyed his sense of humor, his honesty, his dedication to work and family, his willingness to share of himself freely and easily. Especially his sharing stories about his trips to FL, his dog, all the wild animals in his back yard, his children and their careers, his knowledge of single malt scotch, as well as his skills in ping pong and adventures in golf. Even the joys/pains of being a Tigers, Lions, and Spartan fan. He will always be a part of my memories of working at Jackson as well as in my thoughts and prayers for the rest of my life.
I wish I could express my sympathy in person however since I have not yet received the covid vaccine I do not wish to expose anyone unknowingly to the virus and so will not be able to attend his memorrial service. Again my deepest condolences to the Palk family. Sincerely, Kevin.
