Robin A. Velasquez
Age 63, Born April 6, 1955 in Lansing. Passed away at her home January 5, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and watching her grandchildren grow up. She loved spending time with her husband Ray, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Raymundo Velasquez, her parents Robert and Mary Nelson, Brother Shawn, Sister Andrea, and lifelong friend Robert Meredith. Surviving are her sons Raymundo III (Theresa) Rolando (Jennifer) Sr.; four grandsons Ray IV, Alex, Rolando Jr., Joseph and two granddaughters Serenity, and Riley. Brother Bob (Terri); sister, Tonia (James); brother, Barry; and Frank; She is also survived by her uncle Rudy and aunt Charlotte. She had so many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that were very close to her and will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019, at House of Prayer, 9974 E. Old M-78, Haslett, MI 48840.
