Robin (DeGood) Johnson

Robin (DeGood) Johnson, age 69, of Holt, MI, passed away on October 16, 2021.

Born May 12, 1952, the daughter of Arthur and Virginia DeGood, Robin was a lifelong Michigan resident.  Robin enjoyed all things MSU athletics and was particularly gleeful every time MSU bested U of M. Second only to her ability to trash talk the Wolverines, was her capacity to befriend complete strangers. She was social to her core and will be missed by many, including the biological siblings she had the pleasure to find, know, and love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson; long-term partner, Joe Cronk; her beloved twin sister, Roxanne Morrell; her parents; and sister, MerriAnn Anderson as well as her faithful companions, Pocky and Chloe. Surviving are her children, Jennifer (Stephen) Saloma, Jodi (Rachel) Haines, and Brett Dillard; her nieces and nephew; and grandchildren, Taryn, Ryan, and Max.

Please join the family in celebrating her life at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Her family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
