Roberta “Bobbi” VanErmen
Roberta “Bobbi” VanErmen age 84, died peacefully on September 1, 2022, at her home in Holt. Bobbi was preceded in death by her husband Ronald. She was born in Detroit on February 22, 1938, to Robert and Aurella Schulte. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Colleen) and Steven (Theresa) VanErmen and grandchildren: Christopher Walter, Casey White, Olivia VanErmen, Hayden VanErmen, Lance VanErmen and Griffen VanErmen. She was a loving caring mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She worked for over 10 years at The Michigan Public Service Commission.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, from 6 pm to 8pm at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 Cedar St, Holt, and Wednesday, September 7, 10 am to 12 pm at Kaul funeral home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores. Burial will take place 12:30 pm in Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township. For those who wish in lieu of flowers, donations in Bobbi’s honor can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org). Special thank you to all the loving caregivers, especially Becky, Amanda, and Fleicidad along with Mary, Amanda K, Jennifer, Michelle, Jordan, and Victoria from Sparrow Hospice Care.
