Robert R. Rosewall

 Robert R. Rosewall, 84, of Holt, MI, died peacefully April 30, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born June 2, 1929 in Ann Arbor, MI.

Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, worked at Diamond Reo and later for the City of East Lansing as a waste water treatment operator.  He was an avid outdoorsman and birdwatcher, he loved to travel with his family and was a big sports fan who enjoyed watching the Tigers and U of M. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharlene; daughters, Karla (Ron) Darnell and Brenda (Dan) McCaige; grandchildren, Kristopher (Crisanne) Titus, Amanda Titus, Jessica (Jason) Florian, Daniel McCaige, Mitchell McCaige, Cody Darnell and Jamison McCaige; and great-grandchildren, Mariah, Taylor, Connor, Tanner, Gabriella and Jayeden.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mabel (Arent) Rosewall; son, Robert R. Rosewall in 1961; and in-laws, Alvin and Evelyn Foust.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 12:00 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Ezop of Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice officiating.  Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2 from 4-6 p.m. at the Chapel and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice.
