Robert Clair Smith
Age 84, passed away May 2, 2016. He was born April 25, 1932, in Grayling, Michigan. Robert worked as a Principal for Howell Elementary School.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline; his sons, Scott (Christy) Smith and Jeff (Mary) Smith; his daughter, Carol (Jim) DeMario; 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren; step-children, Randy (Deirdre) Cox, Dennis (Jan) Cox, Pamela Leach and David Cox; 4 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
There will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Home Care, C/O Sparrow Foundation, P.O. Box 30480, Lansing, MI 48909.

May 23, 2016 at 4:03 pmI’ve known Bob since we were roommates in college. He has been a dear friend ever since. We were kindred spirits in our musical tastes and always enjoyed each other’s company. I (we, Joyce learned to love him and Jackie, also) will miss him very much and our prayers go out to Jackie and all his family.
