Robert C. “Bob” Higdon

Age 87, of Lansing, MI, passed away December 25, 2013. He was born July 9, 1926, in Mason, MI, son of the late Clare and Inez Higdon.

Bob was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired as a TV engineer from WKAR and was a longtime member of South Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Higdon; children, Randall (Judy) Higdon and Gail (Bill) Kendall; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by 1 sister.

The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with Pastor Donald G. Denyes officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or South Church.
