Condolences to the Mogis family from one of his co-workers. I worked with Bob for several years. We are going to miss him at the MPSC as he always had good things to say and always had a positive attitude. He always was smiling even if he didn’t feel good. You’ve earned your place with Him Bob.

We will miss him dearly at the MI Public Service Commission. He was a devoted civil servant and a great American who served our country in late WWII and the Korean War. May your memories of your loved one provide you comfort during this difficult time. Surely there’s a Euchre game going on in heaven. Bob is wearing his Navy cap, maybe sitting with his Navy buddies, sharing his rhymes, bragging about his swimming medals, demonstrating the Fox-trot or the Cha-cha. He win’s the hand. Rest in peace, Bobbie.

My sincere condolences to the Mogis family. I worked with Bob for over 30 years at the MPSC. I was always humored with his “joke of the day”. He was a valued and trusted employee and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Bob.

I will always cherish my memories of Bob and feel blessed to have known him. Not only did he train me as an auditor here at the MPSC, but he also taught me how to play euchre. He enriched my life with the stories of his life and his “joke of the day.” I always looked forward to seeing him at work and hearing about all the adventures he had with senior olympics, classes he was taking, and memories of his exciting past. Bob, I hope it is just as exciting where you are now so that when I see you again you have lots of great stories to share with me!

Bob was one of the most eccentric persons I’ve even known, the stories that point to it that I’m aware of seem almost infinite! Yet, he was as pure as the snow, and he was unflinching uncritical and non-judgmental of others — a trait I find very uncommon and lacking in most.

Peace and Grace to his family,

Jack Mason

Sincere condolences to Bob’s family. I was able to make contact a few years ago when researching the Mogis family history, and Robert / Bob was happy to fill in a few blanks, as was his wife. I thought his comment to come out to Australia and meet all these new cousins was perhaps just a bit too ambitious, but appreciated all the same. Maybe another day, Bob! Rest in peace.
