I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Bob reached out to me after moving to DuPage because he was interested in mentoring Veterans. He was very helpful to our program. You could tell he took joy in helping other veterans. He was so kind to us all! My thoughts are with your family at this time.

We are so saddened by Bruce’s passing. He, along with your whole family, older and younger, have been so special to us for these many, many years. We send condolences to all, and so sorry we won’t be able to be at the service. Time and distance have come between our presence, but not our thoughts. Love to you all.

Herewith one big attaboy for Bob Ebersole. Principled police officer and assistant prosecutor. Valuable and committed member of the Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court treatment team including service as an individual mentor and, for many years, coordinator of the court’s mentor program. Quiet, reliable, with a fine sense of humor. A life well lived, personally and professionally, which ended too soon. Sincere condolences to the Ebersole family.

My deepest sympathy to Bob’s family as he will be missed by everyone, including us with the mentor program in Illinois. He provided support, encouragement and guidance with his leadership style and grace he bestowed upon us. I will miss him as he was a mentor to me for living life to the fullest which he had done as well.
