Robert Lee “Bob” Bell

Robert Lee Bell July 6th 1946-January 1st 2023

New Year’s Day Bob was called home. A Loving Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend to all. A graduate of Reading High School Class of 1965, Bob started with Ingham Country Animal Control working his way through Corrections and eventually becoming an Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputy. Upon retirement, he worked part time Security with Ingham County Courts, collecting John Deere memorabilia, traveling with Karen and being a Grandpa. As a lifelong Michigan State Spartan (Go Green!) Detroit Tigers and Lions Fan, he spent much time with his Family and Friends watching his teams compete. Bob loved to Golf, Hunt, Camp and spend time “Up North” at the cabin and will be dearly missed at Deer Camp.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Charles “Ding” and Betty Bell, and children: Stacey and Jody.

Bob is survived by his Loving Wife: Karen

His children: Tammy, Jamie, Tim (Wife Debie), David (Wife Krista), Joel, Kevin (Wife Stacy),

Grand Children: Julia, Lindsay (Husband Chris) Helaina, Erika, Ihaja, Kylie, Anastasia and Lily

His Great Grandson Case Michael.

His Sisters: Sharon, Judy and Wilma

A Celebration of Life will be held January, 28th 2023 11AM-2PM at Hidden Gem in Holt, 4230 Charlar, Holt MI 48842. All are encouraged to wear Green and White.

He was such an incredible person- funny, jolly, kind and loving. I wish I had known him longer. I’m so grateful to him for his acceptance and open arms.
