The men of the Lansing Ecumenical Men’s Chorus will sorely miss Richard as he joins that heavenly chorus. We pray for Dick’s family that they will find comfort knowing that Dick is now in God’s embrace.

To Beth and your family,
Dick was such a wonderful man. We are so happy that we were able to get to know him. We will miss his stories and jokes that he would share with us. Your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers during this diffcult time.

Dear Mrs. Murley and family, I was so sorry to learn of Mr. Murley’s passing. He was a wonderful teacher and a role model for many of his former students. His discussions and lessons in Government, History and the other subjects that he taught us were a great foundation for our future education. I still remember the many long hours he put in preparing us to present the school play our junior year. Mr. Murley was one of the two or three people who had a very major impact on my development and life. Whatever small success I have had academically and professionaly I attribute in no small part to Mr. Murley. My deepest sympathy, Ed Rodgers
MSB class of 1963.

Beth and family~
Sorry I couldn’t get to the memorial service for Mr. Murley. I worked for him in the 60’s at the health department. He so helped this “country kid” with her first state job. Many times he brought laughter to stressful situations. I’m sure he is smiling down at your family now. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry I was unable to attend the service as I was injured recently and it is difficult to get around. Very sorry for your loss. Merrick.
