Age 66, of Muskegon, passed away November 10, 2012. He was born June 12, 1946, in Lansing, to Richard and Sally Holmes.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.

January 7, 2013 at 10:53 pmTo family of dick holmes. He was a good man I have known him for about five years I was his nabor on poulson rd. I often would go down and talk with him about many things he got really emotional about the war. My wife brought him dinners often and we always made sure he had a good dinner for the holidays. He has grown into a dear friend for my entire family I have a 5 year old daughter that loved to talk with him when I would mow his grass,rake his leaves, fix his roof, cut down his trees ect. she would always insist on coming with me so she could play with him he was a good man and taught our family a lot and he never knew it. For those who loved him I am sincerely sorry for your loss.
