Age 44, passed away June 24, 2018. She was born October 7, 1973, in Lansing, MI, to Robert and Gail Harry.
Rebecca graduated from Holt High School in 1992. She was a loving wife and daughter, a devoted foster mother, and an avid crafter.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Chris Houghten; mother, Gail Harry; brother, Chris Harry; mother-in-law, Janet (Bob) Houghten-Hastings; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Natasha) Houghten and Mike (Erin) Houghten; sister-in-law, Becky Houghten; niece, Megan Bentley; several other extended family members; and her beloved pets, Violet, Delilah, and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Rob” Harry, and father-in-law Thomas Houghten.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Holt United Methodist Church, 2321 N. Aurelius Rd. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Her family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan, Inc., 121 S. She and Chris were so attentive to our little Paulina (I was only slightly worried they might sneak off with her for good 🙂 Becky Jo always had a smile and her personality shined whenever I had the opportunity to be around her.
