Raymond L. Brown
Age 94, of Holt, MI, passed away May 6, 2013. He was born on September 2, 1918, in Wood County, WV, son of the late Peter and Flora Brown.
Raymond was a proud World War II veteran. He enjoyed listening and watching Tigers baseball.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julia “Judy” Brown; children, Sharon (Quentin) McCallum and Raymond (Kathy) Brown II; granddaughters, Heather (Nicholas) Wingett and Maureen McCallum; great-granddaughter, Julia Wingett; sister, Glenna Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with the Rev. George Stehle officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Dimondale. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
