Ramona G. Alegria
Age 87, of Lansing, MI, passed away August 20, 2017. She was born December 29, 1929, in Reynosa, Mexico, to Lorenzo and Issac (Quesada) Gutierrez.
Ramona was a longtime member of the Spanish Church of God in Lansing and was employed by MSU for 25 years. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her 3 grandchildren, Angie Antes, Bridgette (John) Sible, and Steven (Tammy) Rodriguez; 7 great-grandchildren, Drew, Siena, Nicholas, R.J., Gabriella, Jeremiah, and Miranda; sister, Martina Orta; niece, Alicia (Jason) Bonilla; nephew, Geronimo Adamae; several other extended family members; and her best friend, Macy (Israel).
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Dimondale. Her family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
