Glenna, Linda, Terry, and Kim. –

I am sadden to learn of Phils passing. Whenever I think of him I remember his ear to ear smile and his laugh. He was a true friend of my fathers and Dad cherished their friendship. I remember them playing ping pong in our basement on Cooper Street before they became involve in tennis. They were so competitive and loud that I could not sleep! I was happy when they moved on to outdoor tennis. Glen Lake, Pentwater, strawberries and roses come to mind when I think of Phil. He will be missed but not forgotten.

My thoughts are with you

Phil was our weekly care visitor for three plus years with so many stories and laughter and and would sing a Hymn with that awesome voice. MSU sports. Watch a Detroit Tiger game with us. Phil talked of the love of his wife Glenna and their families and we shared ours. Started HUMC care visits for me then husband became ill and Phil was here for both of us. He gave physical hugs every time he left our home. Phil was a very special person that crossed our lives and thank God for giving us time with Phil . Ken passed Dec 2022..

We will always remember the many good times with Phil and Glenna, especially our getaway weekends in Jackson. Phil was an all-around good person who was very generous with his time and talents, notably with anyone in need. Whether it was bringing his special roses or mowing your lawn, you could count on Phil. He and Glenna were very good to each other. We will miss him greatly, but we are confident he is in a better place.
