Peggy M. Henderson

Peggy May (Decess) Henderson, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away November 13, 2023, in the comfort of her home at the age of 82. She was born in Alma, Michigan, on November 10, 1941, to Russell and Mary Decess.

Peggy loved reading, playing golf, cooking and preparing meals for friends and family. She enjoyed camping and exploring new adventures.  She enjoyed going to plays at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts and was an avid movie watcher. She enjoyed watching National Geographic and Discovery to learn new facts about the world from animals to pyramids.

Peggy loved bartending at the B&I bar and other various bars in the area and meeting and conversing with new people. She was very active for the American Legion Auxiliary in Holt.

Peggy will be missed by family and friends, and she will be missed by her loving granddaughter, Rosalena Olivares.

A celebration of her life will be at a later date.
