I’m so sorry to hear of Pearl’s passing. I first meet her through her granddaughter Sara, when we worked at the RClub together, then I once again I had the pleasure of meeting her through painting, we took classes from Mina Greco Hall and we’re both in a show @ the Okemos Library this past summer. What a wonderful artist Pearl was, such a talent, and a classy lady whom I will miss. Rest In Peace Pearl with the greatest artist, our Lord in heaven. I’m so sorry for your loss all who will hold her in your hearts. God Bless

I’m so sorry to hear of Pearls passing. She was a wonderful person. I knew her from garden club, painting class, and went to Amsterdam with her. I will have fond memories of her.

A precious and lovely friend has left us to be with our Heavenly Father…I knew her as a gracious and kind person. I still remember her riding her bike in the summer over to our community garden and sharing tomatoes and laughing over silly things at our Senior Exercise group. I am so grateful for the sweet memories.

A beautiful, special, loving woman with many talents. As a teenage babysitter to her daughters she was a role model to me. I have the most wonderful memories as a young girl. Sorry for your loss-Bonnie, Laura, Julie, Janet and the rest of your families. Forever in my heart, Mari(Jenkins) Beswick

What a wonderful, talented person Pearl was–as well as a loyal friend! In addition to everything she did outside of her church activities, she was very involved at St. David’s as a church school teacher, a Greeter, and a Prayer Minister. She was in charge of the MOPS (Mother of PreScholers) Children’s Program, and later became The “Titus Woman” for the MOPS group. She was currently in charge of the kitchen crew for St. David’s Senior World Program. In addition to these, and many other activities, her artistic talents are demonstrated by the murals she painted on the walls of St. David’s nursery wing, and by the 4 X 16 foot tableau she painted and which is placed outside the church every Christmas Season. Pearl will be greatly missed by all who knew her!

We went to school together. Then we became neighbors I.never heard her say a mean word about anyone. I believe it was Julie that fell through the ice with Marie on a pond on east Greenfield. They were having a great time sliding but that water was cold ! Pearl was a wonderful lady and friend.

Hi Jane,

Thanks for the kind words about our sweet Mom. That does sound like something I would have done, falling through the ice. It was a lot of fun playing and skating on that ice pond near our houses on Broadbent.

Sincerely,
Julie

I was shocked to hear of Pearl’s passing. I was at a painting class with Mina when she told of her passing. I only got to know her a short time, (we sat next to each other in class) and I thought she was very talented. I was hoping to make the funeral but I have come down with a horrible cold,(runny nose and hacking cough) and I don’t want to spread it to everyone else. Please send my regards and prayers to the family and Pearl’s friends. She is with the Lord and is out of pain and worry.

We of the Tuesday Morning Bible Study were so sad to hear of Pearl’s passing, She was truly a lovely, gracious lady. She will be greatly missed by all of us. I think of her and remember her strolling through the halls at Lansing Eastern High School in that graceful way she had.

Pearl was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and the sweetest person I have ever known. She was very beautiful, inside and out. We had many special times together. I will cherish our recent dinner out and going to the Warton Center to see Harry Connick Jr. the last Friday in November. Pearl loved her family and cherished all her friends and loved the Lord and enjoyed studying His word in our Ladies Bible Study. I will miss her so much. All my prayers and love to her family.

I’ve known Pearl only 8 years. She was a kind, sweet, beautiful woman inside and out. Always waved and smiled as she passed my condo. She enjoyed life and traveled the world as much as possible. She was a regal woman even when riding her bicycle. She will be greatly missed.

Lovely Pearl modeled for Becker’s Bridal in the early 60’s. I was only 12, but I never forgot her. My grandparent owned Becker’s and to this day still have a booming business. My other two sisters and I also .modeled jr. Bridesmaids dresses. We three always wanted to be like Pearl!
sorry for your loss of such a beautiful woman . Beth Thelen – Fowler
