Paul E. Shankle

Born November 12, 1934 in Tyronza, AR, died November 23, 2011 in Crestview, FL. As a young man of 17 years Paul left the farm and moved to Michigan, where he worked as a drywaller. He moved to Florida seven years ago with his wife of 59 years, Donna. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Woodlawn Baptist in Crestview. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time in his boat.

He leaves behind a family which was his first love: wife, Donna Shankle; daughters, Shelley (Terry) Tanner, Denise Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Abby) Tanner, Leigha (A.J.) Lopez, Zachary Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Tino Lopez, Isaiah Lopez, Angelo Lopez, Emillio Rodriguez, Hazel Tanner; his second Mama, Josephine Pharris; many nieces and nephews; and faithful dog, Yo-Yo.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
