Patrick L. "Pat" Syroka

Age 64, of Holt, MI, passed away November 5, 2014 in Holt. He was born June 5, 1950 in Detroit to Francis and Frances (Hapiak) Syroka.  He is survived by his wife Karen (Kaiser) Syroka; their son, Derek Syroka; grandchildren: Destiny, Kaylee, Makenzy, and Troy; and also many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judi McDonald.

Pat was member of the Holt United Methodist Church, and was currently an associate at Auto Owners Insurance Company. In his younger years he played on the Brother Rice football team in Detroit, and also enjoyed bowling. Pat also enjoyed golfing, playing at the casinos, and also the outdoors; especially on a warm sunny day.

There will be a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Holt United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Erbes and Michele Childs co-officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Holt Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt /Delhi Chapel.
