Patricia L. Starkweather

  Age 81, passed away June 23, 2016.  She was born May 11, 1935, in Lansing, to Allen and Lucile Trowbridge.  Patricia graduated from Eastern High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald, in February 2015, and by her parents. Surviving are: 4 sons, Philip (Vickie) Starkweather of Marietta, GA, Steven Starkweather of Grand Ledge, Gregory (Janet) Starkweather of Jefferson, GA and Douglas (Beth) Starkweather of Lansing; daughter, Laura (Todd) Willoughby of Eagle, MI; 13 grandchildren, Ryan (Shawn), Jacob, Kristi, Tyler, Neil, Lindsay, and Spencer Starkweather, Kacie Spierling, Rachel Proue, Ashley Reeves, and Robert, Zachary and Megan Willoughby; 4 great-grandchildren, Jenna, Duncan, Marley and Hannah.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in Wacousta Cemetery.   Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of Patricia Starkweather.
