Patricia Anne Perry Harlow
Age 82, of Lansing, made her transition to be with her Lord on Monday, December 13, 2010. She was born on August 9, 1928 in Grayling, MI, the daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Perry.
Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred and Robert. Patricia is survived by her daughter Anne Patrice, her son Dean (Laurie), grandchildren Pierce and Olivia, sisters-in-law Betty and Mary, and many friends.
Patricia taught kindergarten in the Lansing School District for 32 years. She was a talented musician, singer, composer, artist, poet and bird lover. She was a member of the Matinee Musicals Choral Ensemble, Director of Seniors of Note, current President of Women Composers of Mid-Michigan, a member of the International Order of St. Luke The Physician, an Alliance of Divine Love Minister, a member of the MSU University Club, and a member of The White Eagle Lodge. Patricia was a rock hound extraordinaire, loved all of nature, and loved her dog Cindy, and cat Ginger. In particular, she found strength and creativeness in her beloved home on Higgins Lake where she lived most of the year.
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia’s life will take place on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI with the Rev. December 16, 2010 at 9:17 amDear Anne and Dean,
Thank you for the honor of walking with you and your mom last weekend. She is blessed to have such loving and compasionate children. In reading her Obituary, I realized that our moms must have been friends, as my mom also was a long time member of the Matinee Musicale choral group until this year. I continue to pray for your comfort during this difficult time.
