Patricia A. “Patti” Mills

Age 84, of East Lansing, MI, passed away September 22, 2018. She was born to the late Robert and Cecil (Spicer) Darcy.

Patti was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. In years past she enjoyed basket weaving. She was a proud owner of a home at Higgins Lake, where she and her family made many wonderful memories over the years. Patti’s greatest passion was for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Craig Mills, Patrick Mills, Kelli (Mark) Hansen, and Shaun (Tasha) Mills; grandchildren: Emma, Cailey, Carson, Zachary, Anna, Alissa, and Mitchell; as well as many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by Jerry Mills, her husband of 53 years, and siblings: Jean and Robert.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at St. Casimir Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Bill Lugger as celebrant; interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with a Scripture Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church on Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to MDA Greater Michigan Office, Okemos, MI.
