Dick and family so sorry to hear of Nancy’s death. Enjoyed our times together in college with the rest of our group. She was so sweet and always had a smile on her face. She always knew what she wanted out of life even back then. You all were the answers to her prayers. Your family’s Hospitality always meant a lot to her College friends. For many years we connected once in awhile and it was always a real treat at your home.

Dear Dr. Halik, Molly and thr entire family:

I am very saddened by the news of Nancy’s passing. Nancy was a superb wife, super mom, and a great person to know. I remember when she was actively involved at Northwestern Elementary School helping students and driving for fieldtrips, always smiling. May the good Lord comfort you and bless you. You are in our prayers.

Just read online LANSING STATE JOURNAL and learned of your loss, Dr. Halik and daughters. Diane and I are thinking of you. Stay as strong as you can in the knowledge that Nancy and the entire Halik Family epitomize service to others and accomplishment of the common good.

I have warm personal and professional memories of our years working together in behalf of students and community in Mid-Michigan . . . and of many occasions on which Nancy and “the girls” accompanied you at LCC events.
