Misty Kay (Baker) Bigelow

Misty passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the age of 52. She was born in Lansing, Michigan, on November 18, 1966, to Clare Monroe (Morse) and Michael Baker of Lansing Michigan. Her family moved to Holt, Michigan, where she attended and graduated from Holt Public Schools in 1984.
Misty lived life to the fullest. She had a lifelong love of horses, enjoyed snowmobile trips, attending car races, but most importantly she loved her grandchildren. Misty had a talent of being able to bring a smile to your face or a laugh just when you needed it most. She was caring and giving to all she knew. Everyone she knew, she considered them family.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Bigelow; son, RJ (Krista) Lynch; daughter, Macy (Trevor) Tilford; grandsons, Parker and Braxton Tilford; stepson, Shelby James Bigelow; her mother, Clare Monroe; sisters, Dawn Ash, Melinda (Troy) Jones, and Brenda (Dwayne) Baker Smith; sister at heart, Michelle Trigo; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, who she loved as if they were her own.
Misty was preceded in death by her father, Michael Baker, and stepfather Robert Monroe.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to go towards funeral costs.
