Michael Kevin Bowen

Age 60, of Lansing, MI, passed away October 29, 2021. He was born July 15, 1961 to William and Sandra Bowen (Cook).

Mike had a love for NASCAR. He loved attending and watching the races, particularly at Michigan International Speedway. He enjoyed playing the lottery everyday and getting his daily Slurpee from the gas station. He spent many years at Pleasant Lake with family and friends making memories.

Mike is survived by his wife, Lorraine Bowen; children: Jaime (Ryon) Shurmantine and Shaun (Jennifer) Bowen; stepchildren: Jessica Piper, Heather (Trevor) Shull, and Rebecca Piper; grandchildren: Cameren, Maddison, Jonas, Cedric, Veronica, Tobiaz, and Roman; stepgrandchildren: Bethany, Aubreigh, Jordan, Ayvah, Natalya, Cayden, Lillan, Anabel, Kinsley, and Graisun; and siblings: Belinda Slater, Luanne (Randy) Gaston and Doug (Cindy) Bowen.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother Randy Bowen.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
