Michael “Kevin” Beach
Age 70, Mike passed away November 26, 2025. He was born in Lakeview, Michigan, on October 10, 1955. Mike served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked at Sparrow Hospital, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool with friends, golf, creating stained glass art, and spending time with his dogs. However, his greatest treasure was spending time with his grandchildren, that’s what made him truly happy.
Mike is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pam; his children, Andrew (Amanda) Beach, Angela Beach, and Aaron (Stacy) Beach; “bonus son,” Kareem Abouslseoud; grandchildren, Madalynn Rose Beach, Michael Beach, and Lincoln Beach; sisters, Denna (David) Proctor and Elaine Beach; and his dogs, Baxter and Dudley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Betty Schray; brothers, Thad Beach and Thay John Beach; and sister, Susie Beach.
Mike’s family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Michael Kevin Beach.

Just know that you both were and still are very much loved by me and were a very important part of my life. I’m here if you need me. A florida vacation is never a bad thing and I have multiple motorcycles. My deepest condolences to you all.

December 15, 2025 at 8:29 pmMy condolences to Kevin’s immediate family and also to Deena and Elaine. When children, Kevin was a buddy of my brother and myself – growing up in the house next to the vacant lot between our houses. The great times playing baseball, football or just all of us hanging around in the lot will not only be never forgotten, but always remembered . It has been a lot of years since looking up with awe to Thay and especially Thad and thinking Mr. Schray was the strongest man in the world. So many wonderful summers and years growing up with our friend Kevin and his family. Again, Kevin is always remembered with warm and cherished memories and my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
With sincere sadness and fondness, Greg Glatz.
