I met Mike on three occasions while my Father was in hospice this past summer. His compassionate approach with Dad, along with stories of their Northern MI fishing trips, brought smiles to all of us. I felt love for this man I hardly knew. I pray for Michael’s family and friends, that they overcome the sadness with the everlasting light God promises throughout each cherished memory.

God bless you Mike…rest in everlasting peace.

I never thought I would be writing something like this so soon. My dear brother, my oldest brother, God called you and we are left to mourn. I thank you for all you have given and provided me. You were a leader, giver, served your church, were a trusted friend, loved your family and many many dear friends. We will draw strength from them and enjoy their stories as time passed. As I said less than 5 months ago, my life will never be the same. But I am a better person because of you and Pat.
God speed my dear brother he has you in his mighty arms.

I remember Mike Stump. Such a kind and friendly guy. He was a year ahead of me in St. Mary’s Cathedral High School. He has been a tremendous support person for Mary Kay, and once a friend always a caring friend. The world was better knowing he was in it.

I saw Mike recently at his brother Pat’s services. I played basketball with Mike at St. Mary, as well as with Pat. I saw Mike at his class reunions which I attended with my brother Jud, Mike’s classmate. Mike was a somewhat quiet, cordial, kind person. He always treated me with respect and warmth. I was most impressed with Mike when he attended our mother’s funeral service. I know his classmates and friends will miss him much. I will also as I’m missing his brother Pat. There were a good team at St. Mary, they will be a good in heaven. I send my condolences and best wishes to his family.

Such a nice man. I was his last secretary at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He was always very kind. He was so smart, too!
