Michael Allen Roberts

Age 42, of Lansing, MI, went to be with the Lord September 17, 2026, in Lansing. Michael was born December 17, 1983, in Jenison to Scott and Montserrat “Montsy” (Miles) Roberts.

Michael was passionate about working for the Lord. He would work hard at collecting resources, which he would then cycle around the city to distribute to those in need. He was a tireless advocate, ministering to the homeless, less fortunate or someone just down on their luck. Michael had a love for the outdoors; he was the one that caught all the fish, knew what to do to make a plant grow, and had a love for all of God’s creations. Michael had a great love for movies and was great at quoting movies or doing impersonations. Michael had a great ability to make everyone feel loved and wanted.

Michael is survived by his wife of 9 years, Amanda Roberts, his mom Montserrat “Montsy” Roberts, sister Gina Holmes, brother Greg Roberts, nieces Mercedes and Briona, nephews Alex and Marshall, great-nephew Hunter, Jr., uncles Rick (Connie Gutherie) Miles, Norm Roberts, and Jeff Roberts, cousin Greg Miles as well as other extended family many friends, and his beloved dogs Marmaduke and Maverick.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Scott Roberts, paternal grandparents Bev and Pauline Roberts, maternal grandparents Floyd and Isabel Miles, uncles Larry Miles and Randy Miles, and good friend Josh Brink.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.

Michael will be greatly missed by all those who loved him and all those he served.
